Compliance status
CourtFull aims at WCAG 2.2 level AA and is partially compliant: the exceptions are listed below under known limitations.
What CourtFull does, and how it is tested
- Automated tests with axe-core (WCAG 2.0 to 2.2, A and AA) on every main page, in all six themes, on a desktop screen and on a phone.
- Everything works with the keyboard: visible focus, a skip link to the content and a command palette (Ctrl or ⌘ + K).
- Buttons, fields and map layers have a name for screen readers, and new results are announced.
- Map colours that stay distinguishable with colour blindness.
- Easy reading: larger type and more space.
- Two high-contrast themes, a light and a dark one.
- With the system setting “reduce motion”, the map and the animations no longer move.
- Four languages (Dutch, French, German and English), with the right language set on each page.
Known limitations
- The map itself is visual. Every result the map shows is also in the panel as text: the canton, the courts and their addresses.
- Some points are approximate (a street without a house number, a place from OpenStreetMap). The app says so in text, but the point on the map is not exact.
- Printing and PDF (through the browser’s print function) and RTF letters: how accessible those files are depends on the browser and the word processor. The proof of jurisdiction contains a picture of the map.
- Map tiles and aerial photos come from other services (OpenFreeMap, the regions): CourtFull cannot change their labels or colours.
